   Tenía la intención de hacer un dibujuelo ex profeso para felicitaros este día, pero cómo de tiempo ando un poco escaso, sirva entonces de Halloween-Card el lápiz del “MISCHIEF NIGHT, Special Gothic Lolita”, eso sí convenientemente customizado.

  Por cierto, lectura la de este tebeo muy acorde con la fecha ;).

  Lo dicho:

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Otro de los clásicos del terror moderno para el que he trabajado. Pese a que en esta serie como en Friday the 13th, solo hice portadas ( Nightmare on Elm St. Fue de la que me encargué “al completo”), es Leatherface mi personaje favorito de esta triada.
Probablemente lo contundente de su herramienta de trabajo, lo rudo de sus métodos o y que cuando vi por primera vez la peli estuve un mes sin dormir, hacen de La Matanza de Texas uno de mis films de culto.
Perdonad que no os pueda mostrar una buena imagen del color, ya sabeis…

Bad Moon Rising

Hace algún tiempo, a la vez que los de Mischief Night, hice la creación del personaje Black Jack Morgan (o al menos así se llamaba en los textos que yo recibí…), para la serie Bad Moon Rising. Dicha serie, escrita por Brian Pulido y dibujada por Wellington Alves, fue publicada por Avatar Press allá por el 2006.
Como suele ocurrir nunca doy con la tecla a la primera, aquí os dejo los primeros bocetos que hice para el personaje, es decir: el Black Jack Morgan que nunca vereis, más tarde pondré el definitivo, ok?

Some time ago, at the same time that those of Mischief Night, I made the character's creation Black Jack Morgan (or was called this way in the texts that I received from Brian…), for the series Bad Moon Rising. This series, written by Brian Pulido and the art by Wellington Alves, was published there by Avatar Press in 2006.

FRIDAY THE 13 th

Bueno, bueno, bueno. Miro por la ventana y veo que ha llegado la primavera, el tiempo es fantástico, ha salido el sol y dan ganas, por ejemplo, de darse una vuelta en bici por el bosque… eso sí procurando evitar Crystal Lake… por lo que pueda pasar…

Esta es una de las muchas portadas que hice allá por febrero de 2006 para la miniserie FRIDAY THE 13th –Fearbook- , en concreto es la wrap-cover #1, y el color lo puso Andrew Dalhouse, y hablando de color, dos preguntas: ¿Qué ciclista lleva un guante de cada color? Y ¿Por qué visten de colores tan apagados?

Uno, dos, ya viene por ti,

Tres, cuatro, cierra la puerta,

Cinco seis, no duermas aùn,

Siete, ocho, mira el crucifijo,

Nueve, diez, nunca dormiràs.

Ha, ha, ha! Freddy viene a por ti…
Entre finales de 2005 y principios de 2006 dibujé para Avatar Press la serie A Nightmare on El Street, primero hicimos un comic-book auto conclusivo y después la mini serie de tres números “Paranoid”
Lo que veis es el proceso de la tapa (Wrap) del primero de los comics de dicha serie. El color lo puso Andrew Dalhouse.
Las portadas para la serie fueron una gozada de hacer; al no tener que sujetarme al guión y viviendo Freddy en el mundo de los sueños podía inventar mil escenarios donde mover al personaje … ya os iré enseñando más. Mientras tanto… No durmáis demasiado ;)

Among final of 2005 and principles of 2006 I drew for Avatar Press the series A Nightmare on Elm Street, first we made a comic-book conclusive and later the mini-series of three issues "Paranoid".
What you see is the process of the cover (Wrap) of the first of the comics of this series. The color was of Andrew Dalhouse.
The covers for the series were one enjoyed of making; when not having to adjust me to the script and living Freddy in the world of the dreams could invent a thousand scenarios where to move the character… Soon I will show you more, meanwhile... Don't sleep too much ;)

Mischief Night (II)

Y… bueno, la otra cara de la moneda, el caso contrario:
En el primer dibujo, el primero de los diseños que hice para Jill, la aviesa protagonista femenina de Mischief Night.
Hubo que adelgazarla y rejuvenecerla, para que presentara el aspecto que veis en el segundo dibujo, que con pequeñas diferencias (el crucifijo del cuello se cambió por una calavera) fue como lució en el tebeo.
En esta ocasión sí que estoy plenamente de acuerdo con Brian, el diseño final sí que encajaba mucho mejor con el personaje.
