WOLFSKIN (II)

Aquí os dejo algunos lápices de portadas y páginas de WOLFSKIN (¿Se nota mucho que estoy apostolando para su publicación en España???). Supongo que por este tipo de material se me acusa, quizás demasiadas ocasiones, de dibujante ultraviolento.
Realmente la violencia gráfica en si misma no es algo que me apasione, muy al contrario, creo que está sobre valorada en los comic-books americanos, pero a veces, como en este caso, la sangre e higadillos al aire se imponen para el correcto funcionamiento de la historia.
¡Algo tenía que decir en mi defensa! ;P

I leave you some pencils of covers and pages of WOLFSKIN. I Suppose that for this material type I am accused, maybe too many occasions, of ultra-violent draftsman.
The graphic violence is not really an exciting thing for me, on the contrary, I think that it is too much in the American comic-books, but sometimes, like in this case, the blood and viscera jumping out, are imposed for the correct operation of the history.
Something had to say in my defense! ;P

WOLFSKIN

Creo que no os he hablado de WOLFSKIN. Fue mi segunda colaboración con Mr. Ellis en una novela gráfica donde se nos narraba como un rudo bárbaro con problemas de conciencia, se ve envuelto en una trama de fobias y filias entre dos tribus antaño hermanas.
Aunque no es precisamente mi serie favorita, sí que fue un reto interesante. Aquí os muestro el proceso creativo de la primera de las portadas, en la que también definíamos los rasgos esenciales del personaje.

I think that I have not spoken to you about WOLFSKIN. It was my second collaboration with Mr. Ellis in a graphical novel where we were narrating as a rough barbarian with problems of conscience, meets involved in a plot of phobias and filias between two tribes long ago friends.
Though it is not precisely my favorite series, yes that was an interesting challenge. Here I show you the creative process of the first cover pages, in which also we were defining the essential features of the personage.
