Vengeance of The Moon Knight # 9

  Bueno, pienso que ya se puede contar. Este será mi primer trabajo editado para la editorial americana MARVEL:  THE VENGEANCE OF THE MOON KNIGHT #9. De momento no os puedo enseñar nada, tan solo la magnífica portada que el siempre espectacular maestro Scott Campbell ha hecho para este número.


Muchas esperanzas y esmero estoy poniendo en este trabajo, espero que os guste, ya me contareis, ya… ;)

 Well, I think it is true. This will be my first published work for the American publisher MARVEL:  THE VENGEANCE OF THE MOON KNIGHT # 9. At the moment I can not show anything, only the magnificent cover that always spectacular master Scott Campbell has made to this issue.


Many hopes and hard work I put into this, I hope you enjoy it, and you will say ... ;)

Perdonad si tengo ultimamente este blog (y todo, la verdad) bastante abandonado ¡¡El trabajo me está pudiendo!!

Bueno, solucionados los problemas con blogger, parece que puedo reemprender la marcha. Y para hacerlo, una cita:

ABSOLUTION #3, Homage Cover

Y ya que estoy, actualizo:


 Parece que gustaron bastante las “homage covers” que hicimos en NO HERO, por lo que en Avatar se animan a repetir el experimento con la serie de Christos Gage ABSOLUTION. Esta que hoy reproduzco es mi favorita de cuantas hice para la misma.
 Desde la profunda admiración y respeto que profeso al maestro de maestros Jack Kirby, divertido fue adaptar su magistral portada del Capitán América, intentando conservar su personalísima visión de la acción, la composición, la anatomía…

 It seems that readers liked quite the "homage covers" we did in No Hero, so at Avatar dare to repeat the experiment with the series by Christos Gage ABOSLUTION. This is my favorite of all I did for this series.

 From the deep admiration and respect that I profes to master Jack Kirby, fun was to adapt his masterful cover of Captain America, trying to keep his highly personal vision of the action, composition, anatomy ...

CARMONA EN VIÑETAS 2010

  Hoy una de noticias: Del 22 al 24 de enero se celebra en Carmona (Sevilla) su I Certamen “AUTORES EN VIÑETAS”, y los amigos de Carmona en Viñetas, a la sazón organizadores del evento han tenido a bien invitar a este humilde monigotero a participar en él.


  Honradísmo quedo, máxime cuando comparto cartel con artistas del medio tan grandes cómo : Juan Ramón Biedma, Irene Rodríguez, Laurawant Kjoge Kaur, Maz!, David Baldeón, Mateo Guerrero, Paco Nájera, Jesús Meríno, Paco Roca, Rafael Sandoval, Núria Peris, Rafa Fonteriz, Rafael López Espí, Salvador Espín, Studio Kôsen y Cris Ortega… casi nada!

  Así pues, si queréis y podéis, ya sabéis donde encontrarme ese fin de semana, y queda hecha la recomendación a todos para pasar unos días en una ciudad preciosa, participando de una convención cuidada con mimo hasta el último detalle.

  Today a news: From 22 to 24 January is celebrated in Carmona (Seville) the first convention “Autores en Viñetas” (Creators in Panels... aproximadly), and Carmona en Viñeta’s friends, then the event organizers have kindly invited to this humble draftsman to participate in this.

 A great honor for me, especially when I share the bill with such great comic artists how: Juan Ramón Biedma, Irene Rodríguez, Laurawant Kjoge Kaur, Maz!, David Baldeón, Mateo Guerrero, Paco Nájera, Jesús Meríno, Paco Roca, Rafael Sandoval, Núria Peris, Rafa Fonteriz, Rafael López Espí, Salvador Espín, Studio Kôsen and Cris Ortega... Wow!

  So if you want and you can, you know where to find me this weekend, and the recommendation is made to everyone to spend some days in a beautiful city, participating in a convention lovingly cared for until the last detail.

Antes de nada, perdonar por este largo silencio, supongo que cómo a vosotros, los compromisos laborales y familiares de estas fechas me han tenido completamente ocupado, I’m sorry my friends :)

Bueno, espero que estas navidades os hayan sido gratas, que el año comenzase bien y que Santa Claus o los Reyes Magos os hayan dejado infinidad de regalos. Por aquí, cómo os comento muy liado, en lo tocante al trabajo creo que bien y en lo personal… mal, bastante hecho polvo; por cierto y a colación de esto: Estamos buscando un pueblo TRANQUILO para mudarnos, se aceptan sugerencias :).

Para comenzar el año os informo que ya está en las librerías estadounidenses el libro recopilatorio del NO HERO, y para muestra aquí os dejo la portada del libro en su versión “tapa blanda”, ya me contaréis.

 Firstly, forgive this long silence, I guess how you, the work and family commitments this time I have been fully occupied, I'm sorry my friends:)


 Well, I hope to be happy this Christmas, the year started well and that Santa Claus or the Three Kings will have left countless gifts. At home, well bundled, with respect to work well and I think personally ... bad, pretty knackered, and certainly as collation of this: We are seeking a quiet village to move, accepting suggestions :).


 To start the year I reported that already in the U.S. bookstores the NO HERO compilation book, and shows here I leave the cover of the book in its "soft cover", I hope you enjoy it ;)
